Lovers & Strangers 2nd Annual

Frank Venadas and Scarlett Casanova are hosting this event, which will sure garner a list of who's who among southern California hipsters. Kids in tight pants, eclectic dress and vibrant color patterns will be seen mysteriously parked in dark corners and walking the street headed for a night of music, live bands, art and booze. This event will end late, so the crowd will push in after midnight. What draws me to an event hosted by Venadas is his floor plan, able to separate the art from the speakers, which creates two worlds displaying appreciation for both art and music in new downtown locations. With the line-up, it'll sure be an interesting event.

The space includes Alife, UrbanOutfitters, a snack bar, different boutiques and an art space all centered around an outdoor courtyard that displays performance artists, musicians and djs.
